ENTREPRENEUR DEPRESSION & SUICIDE IS A CRISIS
Recent suicides among famous people who we all assumed were; happy, wealthy, successful, popular, and content… have sadly brought stark new attention to this massive US crisis. It also greatly effects entrepreneurs, CEOs, thought leaders, adventurers, soldiers and everyday people alike.
Many of us are struggling feeling more alone, isolated, disconnected, sad... we aren now living in an epidemic and crisis.
One reason why we exist is to help prevent any further depression, despair, anxiety, and hopefully never a suicide.
If we can help even one person to back away from that edge, we consider this a great success!
The resources below are here to help you, we want you here with us.

FOUNDER CRISIS ISSUES
According to a study, approximately one half (49%) of entrepreneurs suffer from at least one form of mental health condition during their lifetimes. These include ADHD, bipolar disorder and a host of addictive disorders. Freeman’s research has shown that start-up business founders are:
• Twice as likely to suffer from depression
• Six times more likely to suffer from ADHD
• Three times more likely to suffer from substance abuse
• Ten times more likely to suffer from bipolar disorder
• Twice as likely to have a psychiatric hospitalization
• Twice as likely to have suicidal thoughts

REACH OUT... PLEASE MAKE THE CALL
The suicide rate in the United States has seen sharp increases in recent years. Studies have shown that the risk of suicide declines sharply when people call the national suicide hotline: 800-273-TALK. There is also a crisis text line. For crisis support in Spanish, call 888-628-9454. Lines are staffed by a mix of paid professionals and unpaid volunteers trained in crisis and suicide intervention. The confidential environment, the 24-hour accessibility, a caller's ability to hang up at any time and the person-centered care have helped its success.
The International Association for Suicide Prevention and Befrienders Worldwide also provide contact information for crisis centers around the world. Please reach out and inform others too.
